The flying boat ... (WIP - part 3)

Working on the wings of the flying boat. Finally settled on using some plastic palm fronds as a starter,

need fill up the gaps somehow - will try PVA initially.

The flying boat ... (WIP - part 2)

A bit further along with the flying boat. I used the 'motion' & mast I had made and fitted them to a plastic boat hull; then made up some basic shaped wings and fitted these to the mast.

I need to do some work to make the wings better, then the whole model can be painted up.

The flying boat ... (WIP - part 1)

I've started a little modelling project, I'm working on my version of the flying boat from one of the Noggin the Nog stories - The Flying Machine.

At the moment I've made the deck and the basic mechanism that is supposed to work the wings....

I may use a spare plastic boat hull and cut the deck to fit it (rather than build a new hull), then go on and make the wings.
