Beornwulf the Bold goes to the Northlands ....
Beornwulf the Bold had crossed the sea to the Northlands to visit his cousin; their ship had been thrown on-shore by a violent storm. Beornwulf had gathered together the survivors and and moved south across the low mountains, the going was tough with lots of snow with dark cloudy weather...
A lone wolf on a nearby hillside howled..
as they turned to see it the wolf ran off. A little further on the clouds cleared and a little pale sunlight shone on the party - then by a rock near some trees a strange beast appeared half man, half horse ....
this turned out to be a centaur who had been alerted to their plight by a local mage - he agreed to guide them to safety...after about an hour they reached the edge of the snowfields. Here you are friends said the centaur 'the northern edge of the Kingdom of Noggin of the Nogs'...
the Centaur wished them well on the the rest of their journey and trotted off towards a nearby forest; Beornwulf and his party headed towards a village theycould see in the distance .......
